Background

The Terraform provider for Ansible does not currently have a changelog solution set up. antsibull-changelog can be used on arbitrary projects (https://github.com/ansible-community/antsibull-changelog/blob/main/docs/other-projects.rst).

Please set up antsibull-changelog for https://github.com/ansible/terraform-provider-ansible. We don't need to create changelog entries for older versions, but we should add changelog fragments for the work that's been done since 1.1.0. There have only been a few PRs, so this should not be too difficult. Also add a GHA for changelog validation.

Definition of Done

• antsibull-changelog has been initialized for the project
• changelog fragments have been created for work done since the 1.1.0 release
• a GHA has been added to check for the presence of a changelog
