As a user I want to be able to run a JT/workflow and target an end instance group/execution node based on host or inventory metadata. This should then allow me to run the same JT/workflow across multiple instance groups and using multiple inventories concurrently.
When running the job template, I do not specify any Instance Group, so it should look at the Inventory to determine this.
Previous notes (from original requester) as FYI:

) and here is what I am doing...
I created a Smart Inventory based on a group name that spans multiple inventories. For the "Instance Group" setting of that Smart Inventory, I added the instance groups for each inventory captured by the smart filter.
When running the job template, I do not specify any Instance Group, so it should look at the Inventory to determine this.
It looks at the execution precedence of the smart inventory and runs on whatever is #1. This means it will fail on anything that needs to run on the other Instance Groups.
