Feature Overview

A customer wants to assign execution nodes at inventory host or group level.

Currently, the only way to do this is using instance groups and smart inventories in order to split the hosts in case they live in the same inventory, but it would be great to have the ability to assign instance groups at inventory host/group level.

Background, and strategic fit

It will expand the flexibility of the instance groups as it will provide the ability to adapt to more use cases.
