We want to be able to specify what server and directory the backup_dir is located on.

Currently, when we take a backup, the servers are filling up to 100% of storage and causing a system outage. We cannot extend the current server disk. We would like to be able to take the backup from a server outside of the cluster and have the tarballs created on that server.
