In a discussion with cferman@redhat.com as part of the COP-automation call, it was discovered that while the minimum requirements for an AAP operator install are mostly documented, they are not easily found.

The Installation Guide explicitly references the Tested Deployment Models guide  in section 1.1.1:

"For information about the Ansible Automation Platform Operator system requirements and infrastructure topology see Operator topologies in Tested deployment models"

The Operator topologies offers very little information for requirements. It does mention node counts and what was tested on in sections 3.1.1 and 3.2.1. Sections 3.1.4 and 3.2.4 also mention that the default installation is set to minimums (with no listing of them) and no limits, with appropriate warnings.

Only in the Performance Considerations doc do we find the actual minimums for most nodes in section 2.2.

Even then we have no listed minimums for Postgresql, Automation Hub, Event Driven Ansible, or backup/restore CRD nodes.

      Recommendation:

That we either move the section 2.2 from Performance Considerations to Tested Deployment Models, or that there is a link added to the Tested Deployment Models doc to Performance Considerations (and probably to the Installation doc as well).

Also that the minimum requirements for Postgresql, Hub, EDA, and CRD nodes be added to the list.

Final note - maximums/limits are not at question, as that will depend on the customer's environment. We do state that repeatedly.
