Automation Calculator in RedHat Insights console does not provide a detailed clue to update the automation cost. Refer attached screenshot. I am able to login to RedHat Insights portal to define the automation savings cost for all the Job Templates running in Ansible automation platform in my customer environment. When I do so, I need to update a field called as "Automated process cost" which is based on hourly basis. In reality, I had discussed with your RedHat Principal Architect Steve Arnold  who also agree with me that this field calculation cannot be done on hourly basis as the development cost will be going to be one time and not hourly basis.

      Business justification:

      • Current Challenges: Automation Calculator in RedHat Insights console does not provide a detailed clue to update the automation cost - to be precise the cost of building the automation is based on per hour basis which is not the right one.
      • Business Impact: This does not affect the productivity but we are unable to calculate the automation cost.
      • Implementation Benefits: We should be able to bring the Insights console and Automation calculator within it to calculate the overall benefits of automation which is needed to showcase to customer IT Manager, IT Director and CTO and CIO.
