      1. What is the nature and description of the request?

Currently, when creating a Constructed Inventory in Ansible Automation Platform, it appears that no more than 25 input inventories can be added. Attempts to add additional inventories (e.g., the 26th or beyond) do not result in an explicit error, but only the first 25 inventories are displayed and used.

This RFE requests an increase of this limit, allowing organizations with a large number of site inventories to include all relevant inventories within a single Constructed Inventory definition.

      2. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Many enterprise customers manage dozens or even hundreds of site-specific inventories, which need to be aggregated for operational efficiency.

Increasing the maximum number of input inventories supported in a Constructed Inventory would:

      • Improve scalability and usability for large-scale environments,
      • Reduce the need for workarounds or multiple constructed inventories,
      • Enhance the overall flexibility and manageability of automation across distributed sites.

      3. How would you like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)

      • Remove or increase the current 25-input-inventory limit in Constructed Inventories.
      • Ensure the UI and API can both handle a higher number of inventories reliably.
      • If a hard limit must remain, allow it to be configurable (for example, through a system setting or environment variable).
