What is the nature and description of the request?

Customer has a fairly large Ansible Automation Platform environment with a very sizable inventory comprising of regular and smart inventories. Whenever they attempt to delete many inventories (both regular and smart), the delete request is getting stuck in a "pending delete" state.

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

Customer needs a way to reduce the number of inventories as most of the inventories were simply a one-time use. The deletion of the inventories needs to be done in a quick and efficient way since there are many.

How would you like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)

Implement some sort of bulk delete inventories.

List any affected known dependencies: Doc, UI etc..
