While the docs call out adding in REDIRECT_IS_HTTPS to OCP deployments on 2.5, this is a regression from the previous AAP capability. Since the default for AAP uses a Route that contains an https endpoint, it is counter to how most customers deploy. Most customers do not find this line in the docs and then run into errors when connecting SAML auth. This increases customer support cases, reduces AAP adoption, and adds friction to the AAP experience. Also, making the change post-deployment to the YAML definition is NOT pushed to the gateway unless the deployment is destroyed and re-deployed.

Recommend using REDIRECT_IS_HTTPS as the default value, and then allowing customers to set REDIRECT_IS_HTTPS = False when they won't be using an HTTPS endpoint
