The customer requests an improvement to the search functionality in the Ansible Automation Platform. In previous versions (e.g., AAP 2.4), searching for a term and pressing Enter would automatically filter the results on the main page, displaying all matching items. However, in AAP 2.5, the search only provides a dropdown list of matching items, requiring users to manually select each one to view them on the page.

The older behavior allowed for a faster and more intuitive workflow, especially for large inventories, templates, or credential lists.
