1. Stop adding constructed inventory hosts to the number of hosts listed on the dashboard.

The Web UI provides a dashboard where the first two metrics are 'Hosts' and 'Failed Hosts' as a lens into the overall status and health of the deployment. We use a multi-organization deployment where the host counts that users see is dependent on the inventories they are responsible for managing. Without constructed inventories, those two metrics are an accurate representation of the number of nodes we are managing with AAP and the number of unique managed nodes with issues. With constructed inventories, those metrics become inflated, their meaning obscured, and their value is greatly diminished.

2. Allow constructed hosts to be a toggled group on the Hosts page so that they may be reviewed from the view without need to always set a filter.

Without constructed inventories, the Hosts page/view provides a useful interface to search for and filter records of the target nodes we are managing. You suggested that we can exclude constructed inventories using one or more id as a key. I find that to be an unreasonable workaround as it requires first obtaining a list of constructed inventories and extracting the ids from those inventories. The option to filter on the inventory.kind field is already available in the API, so it really should be made a priority to have included in the Web UI. Additionally, I strongly believe that the default view for the Hosts page should hide constructed inventory host records, perhaps with the filter visible so it could be turned off if desired.
