      1. What is the nature and description of the request?

      • Run a Service health check before running any job.

      2. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

      • In most cases, where jobs fail to start and go into a pending state, we found that the culprit is one or more failed services. If we do a service check like the supervisor and controller at the start of the job run, based on these checks, if we find any service in a failed state, we can simply error out the job.
      • The other option is to show the service status on the dashboard.
      • It would be beneficial to show the service failure error on the dashboard or in the job failure output. This proactive approach will save customers time, streamline troubleshooting efforts, and enhance the overall user experience by allowing them to quickly address service failures.
