3. Description of request
```
The why:
There have been incidents where customers raised concerns over the spike in their billing costs. 
Investigation revealed that the spike in billing cost was in caused by the spike in usage exceeding the purchased node plan of AAP on Azure by customer.

Current method:
As of now, to get the understanding of customer usage of AAP, we get the node count report generated. This report consists of billing data and active managed nodes of customer, but does not provide information on if the customer usage has exceeded purchased node plan.

Proposal:
It would be beneficial to have a solution implemented which can monitor the customer usage, compare to purchased node plan and generate automated alerts when usage exceeds the purchased no plan. This will reduce the time and effort for this scenario, required in the standard procedure of customer opening a support case, SREs investigating the case and responding to address the customer concern.
