Description
Customer has a constructed inventory called "InvC" with two source inventories "invS1" and "invS2". Both of the source inventories are dynamic and sync their content using the DCIM tool.
The problem customer face is, that whenever they launch a job template that uses "InvC", "InvC" syncs itself based on the data that is available in the AAP but it doesn't force a sync of "invS1" and "invS2", so they don't get the most up-to-date state of those inventories based on our DCIM.
As per the customer, the sync of "InvC" should also trigger the sync of "invS1" and "invS2" - otherwise the sync doesn't make much sense, since there is no guarantee that the constructed inventory is up-to-date.
Currently, they use a workflow template as a workaround. The workflow template ensures that "invS1" and "invS2" are synced before the actual job template launches. However, they don't want to create a workflow template for each job template just to make sure the inventory is up-to-date.
