Pulpcore 3.14 includes https://pulp.plan.io/issues/8459, which allows setting a default number of repository versions to keep. This is required for collection deletion because old repository versions have to be cleared up before content can be deleted. Ensuring that there are no old repo versions in the database will make this process a lot quicker.
