BU Priority Overview
Provide a high-level description of what the BU Priority is and the general direction of where it's going.
The OpenShift Managed cloud services since inception prioritise stability, reliability and ease of use. As a result there are inadvertently several features or constructs in self-managed OpenShift Container Platform that have not been made available to the Managed OpenShift cloud services. This BU priority aims to address this missing parity of capabilities and features in a way that meets the needs of how Managed cloud services must operate, combined with the needs of our customers.
Goals
State the goals and metrics for success. This should not be a list of related features but instead be the acceptance criteria for considering this BU Priority delivered and any specific metrics needed to demonstrate its impact.
- Continue to deliver feature parity for managed OpenShift services compared to OCP.
- reduce toil related to support exceptions meant to address feature parity gaps.
- increase customer satisfaction with the Managed OpenShift cloud services.
State of the Business
Inform the reader of the current state of the business in detail. Include details about the opportunity and impact of delivering against this BU Priority, which may come from the linked 6-pager. Link to other material as appropriate.
Execution Plans
Lay out the plan for how to execute against the BU Priority to meet the previously stated goals. Optionally include criteria for abandonment.
