- Observe pod failure and events log describing missing image
Description
When trying to install the APIcast Operator version 0.5.3, the operator pod will fail to start with the following error:
Back-off pulling image "registry.redhat.io/3scale-amp2/apicast-rhel7-operator@sha256:ccd64090b85536ddaf1b81ca07d40279c9f277b1c5911628f11d678b98dc3bad"
From the OCP events:
Failed to pull image "registry.redhat.io/3scale-amp2/apicast-rhel7-operator@sha256:ccd64090b85536ddaf1b81ca07d40279c9f277b1c5911628f11d678b98dc3bad": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = Error reading manifest sha256:ccd64090b85536ddaf1b81ca07d40279c9f277b1c5911628f11d678b98dc3bad in registry.redhat.io/3scale-amp2/apicast-rhel7-operator: StatusCode: 404, Not found
It seems that this particular hash is missing from the registry.
