Failed invoice charge notification email is not sent

    Description

      We noticed, that some of the billing triggered notification mails are not sent. QE should verify all cases that should trigger such notifications. This issue was created to track the progress and status of particular cases.

      We are sure, that at least one case is not sending notifications: Unsuccessfully charged invoice. This was simulated with Stripe payment gateway and 4000008260003178 test card (All payments will be declined with an insufficient funds failure code).

       

      All cases that should trigger notification emails as described in the documentation:

      • Invoice charged successfully for buyer 
      • Payment error (retry)
      • Payment error (final)
      • Upcoming invoice charge for buyer
      • Expiring credit card
      • Customer downgraded
      • Action required: review invoices

      question for Eng: 

      Are those cases the only ones that should trigger notification email or there are more? e.g. edit credit
