Description
From APIcast 3.6 the error message was changed from 429 to 403 when the methods are disabled. In summary:
From 2.2 to 2.5 (included)
- 403 error was returned for unauthorised calls
- 429 error was returned for limits exceeded including disabled methods
From 2.6 onwards
- 403 error is returned for unauthorised calls and for disabled methods
- 429 error is returned when limits exceeded
Currently it is not possible to differentiate when the request has failed due to authentication error or because the method is disabled.
The request is to be able to customise the error when the methods are disabled.
