Motivation

A development console specifically for testing and troubleshooting serverless workflows will increase productivity.

Goal

Provide a Quarkus DEVUI extension which developers can use to test and troubleshoot orchestration logic in serverless workflows.

Scenarios

As a Java developer, I need a place where I can test and troubleshoot my workflows so that I can efficiently fix issues and verify that workflows do what they should.

As a developer, I need to see inside the testing workflows, its current and past states, workflow data, logs, etc so that I can troubleshoot problems in my code.

Expected outcomes

A new Serverless workflow Quarkus DEVUI console which can be added to a project as Quarkus extension

Workflow Quarkus DEVUI console can visualize current and past states of a workflow instance

Workflow Quarkus DEVUI console can show workflow data in a workflow instance

Workflow Quarkus DEVUI console can show workflow logs

DevUI console itself and embedded in-mem Data Index get development support only

Productize Data Index image now in DP1? In the near future Data Index image will also be used in production
