https://github.com/shrinkwrap/resolver/pull/164 deals with several problems, many of which (especially dependency upgrades) are now obsolete. Given this the original author prefers the PR to be closed, but we should see if we can recreate some of the issues this PR dealt with.

If not, the PR should be simply closed as well as this ticket
