When a process instance has a failure, it should be possible for an administrator to initiate a recovery action through the console

At the end of this page it discusses how recovery actions can be performed through the process management facility in respect of a failed process instance (and activity). This action could be to fault, retry or cancel.

The console should offer the administrator the ability to perform these actions on a process instance.
