Active process instance diagram not shown first time

When the console is initially started, selecting an active process instance and then the execution path button shows a new window with two tabs, view and source.

The view should show the diagram of the activity, but when displayed first time the view is blank. If the view tab is reselected the diagram appears.

Subsequent uses of the execution path button result in the diagram being immediately displayed. Possibly it is a timing issue, if the diagram is maybe only generated first time?
