The NVIDIA GPU add-on card on the dashboard displays button unnecessarily:: GPUs are automatically available in JupyterHub after the NVIDIA GPU add-on is installed. The *Enable* button, located on the NVIDIA GPU add-on card on the *Explore* page, is therefore redundant. In addition, clicking the *Enable* button moves the NVIDIA GPU add-on card to the *Enabled* page, even if the add-on is not installed.

    Description

      Description of problem:

Dashboard added the functionality to move the GPU Addon tile from Explore to Enabled section by clicking on the "Enable" button in Explore page. But, actually, if you don't do that but still install the Addon, the GPUs will be anyway available to be used in JH and the tile will be automatically moved to "Enabled" page. It means that the "Enable" button is redundant. It can be confusing, since you can move the tile to "Enabled" page even if the GPUs are not installed

Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):

      Install RHODS

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install Nvidia GPU Addon
      2. Wait until all the pods are ready in the redhat-nvidia-gpu-addon namespace
      3. go to RHODS Dashboard
      4. search the "Enabled" page for a GPU tile

      1. do not install GPU addon
      2. go to Dashboard
      3. click on GPU's tile in "Explore" page
      4. click on "Enable" button

      Actual results:

the "Enable" button is not enabling or preventing the GPU addon from working.

      Expected results:

GPU Addon does not have the "Enable" button in "Explore" page

      or

GPUs are not available in JH until the GPU addon is enabled from the Explore page

      Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once):

      Always

      Build Details:

      RHODS v1.13

      GPU Addon 1.0.0
