      Description

The change added here https://github.com/redhat-developer/rhdh/pull/2408/files for dynamic favicon needs to be part of the 1.5.2 version release. The document https://github.com/redhat-developer/rhdh/tree/main/docs suggests that we can update the favicon dynamically in the app-config.yaml. However, the supporting changes for this in RHDH are not present in the 1.5 version. They are available in the main branch and have been merged two weeks back. The ask is to have these changes in 1.5.2 so that we can consume the same via app-config. yaml.

      Actual Behavior

      1. The dynamic favicon parts mentioned above are not part of index.html

      Expected Behavior

      1. The dynamic favicon fix is added in 1.5.2 version.

rh-ee-mhild The request for backport is mainly driven by the Ansible portal tech preview release in the first week of May. For the tech preview release the portal will depend on RHDH 1.5 stream. Since this will be first release of portal it is important to show the right landing page with correct AAP branding to the users.
