    • This issue is not reproducible on 7.7.1.GA but reproducible in 7.8.0.GA. Also, in upstream releases, it is not reproducible on 7.33.0.Final but reproducible on 7.34.0.Final. JDK is OpenJDK 11 (I tested using 11.0.8).

      Build rules on RHDM 7.8.0. The maven build takes about 10 minutes in my environment.

      $ unzip reproducer_02722449.zip 
$ cd reproducer_02722449
$ ./create_rules_from_templates.sh
$ cp pom_rhdm780.xml pom.xml
$ ./mvn_clean_install.sh

      Build rules on RHDM 7.7.1. The maven build finishes within 1 minute in my environment.

      $ unzip reproducer_02722449.zip 
$ cd reproducer_02722449
$ ./create_rules_from_templates.sh
$ cp pom_rhdm771.xml pom.xml
$ ./mvn_clean_install.sh

    Description

      Building rules in default-build target of kie-maven-plugin on RHDM 7.8.0.GA takes too long.
      Using reproducer_02722449 attached in Attachment, building all rules takes within 1 minute on RHDM 7.7.1, but takes about 10 minutes on 7.8.0.
      For the customer's real application on this issue, which is not attached here, build time on RHDM 7.7.1 is about 12 minutes but the time on 7.8.0 reaches 6 hours.
