Create a tree with a branch with depth larger than one.
Select the top node and click delete.
A warning will appear saying: "Are you sure to delete the selected node and all children?"
If you click yes, the node and children are lost. See attachment.

    Description

After creating a tree with several branches, if we want to delete one of the middle nodes, all its children are lost, so we have to repeat the work we have already done and create the children again. If the tree is large and we need to change one of the top nodes it makes quite a difference.
