      1. Create a BPMN asset in a DM project
      2. Use any of the service tasks (say REST task for instance) and create a BPMN model.
      3. Do required configurations for the service task in the BPMN model and build it.

      Actual result

There will not be any errors to inform the user/author that the service tasks aren't supported.

      [DRAFT] Expected result

It is not possible to model Service tasks.
If the process was imported and it already contains Service tasks:

      • The warning message that service tasks are not supported is displayed.
        • When importing the process.
        • When building the project.

    Description

The business process asset in the Decision Central allows the creation of a BPMN model/process using the unsupported list of service tasks (REST, Email, Log, WebService etc.,) in the activities palette. This is really misleading and confusing for the rule authors as these service tasks are not supported by DM runtime.

      Suggested resolution

The Service tasks option from the BPMN palette for DM should be removed.
