User Story

As a customer using Builds for OpenShift, I want to understand the level of support Red Hat will provide if my team uses any of the "buildpacks" build strategies.

Background

Builds 1.6 provides build strategies for Cloud Native Buildpacks. However, Red Hat does not provide officially supported build pack images themselves.

Red Hat supports the execution process within buildpacks strategy. We do not support the buildpack builder or runtime images, and as a result cannot support any software produced by the buildpacks strategies.

Acceptance Criteria

• Buildpacks documentation notes that Red Hat supports the execution of the build strategy, but does not support the buildpacks images themselves.
