Description
1. Proposed title of this feature request
Defined the default interface on the OCP node
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
When customers use a lot of network interfaces on the OCP node, They start to be not able to define a default interface to be used by the openshift node, this is OCP 4.9 UPI on VMware.
My customer STC-Jawwy uses Nmstate operator to configure these additional interfaces, But unfortunately, when the newly added interface got an interface name that is less than the primary interface already on the node, the openshift use the new interface as the default interface.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
STC-Jawwy is deploying telco workload "online charging system" on openshift cluster as a nature of the workload, it's mandatory to be attached to different subnets/network and also they use a backup network on a different subnet that must be attached to all the nodes.
the customer going live date was on 31st Aug , but it only beta-live test the platform with internal employees only after that they will decide the Full Live date for all the customer "4M subscribers"
4. List any affected packages or components.
