Description
Instead of setting the index prefix, just setting the full name of the index used for data ingest. The rotation of the names of those indexes should not be controlled by Quay, it must be
all handled by Elasticsearch. If we could just put a rollover alias (for example: quay-ro) inside an "Index" parameter of the integration configuration instead of using the "Index Prefix" field,
Elasticsearch could handle the rotation of those indexes depeding on lifecycle policies and index size, and it could create the names as well
(rollover alias set an internal name for the indexes as they internally rotate, for example: quay-ro-YYYY.MM.DD-000001).
Index template created by Quay is not needed, because Elasticsearch administrators create their own index templates with their own lifecycle policies and settings. In the tests we did we observed
that the template that Quay creates is empty, so it is not harmful but it is not needed. Elasticsearch administrators could delete it by hand or establish different priorities for the templates.
