OCP console form for ServiceMeshControlPlane creation still alows to enable 3scale addon but then the installation fails

It's still possible to enable 3scale addon via the OCP console UI form but then the installation fails with:
Error processing component maistra-threescale: [no matches for kind
"adapter" in version "config.istio.io/v1alpha2", no matches for kind
