            This is critical because for some unknown reason the ansible operator team decided to discontinue multi-arch support in the 4.11 line of ansible operator base image. See: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/CLOUDBLD-13324

            this is done upstream https://github.com/kiali/kiali-operator/pull/657 (and even for the ossmc plugin https://github.com/kiali/openshift-servicemesh-plugin/pull/154 ) but that doesn't really matter - we need the cpaas mid-stream repo change to be done for this to affect the production builds. We are going to wait until OSSM 2.4.0 is released before committing anything to the 2.4 repo branch.
