After the first integration of OVN into MicroShift by hand, we will want to automate the process of updating to new releases. That automation will be split between a script that runs in the MicroShift repo and commands it can call from the OVN side to generate manifests, image lists, etc. to be added to the openshift/microshift repository and integrated into the next release of MicroShift. See https://github.com/openshift/microshift/blob/main/scripts/rebase.sh for an example of how this is being done for core OpenShift components today.

Automating upgrades of an existing MicroShift deployment based on changes to OVN are left for a separate epic.
