Description of problem:
We have a OCP-V cluster with Fusion Access (GPFS) operator which use spectrumscale.csi.ibm.com Provisioner for Storage Class. VM Cold migration from vSphere works good. However VM Warm migration from vSphere failed on step "Cutover" with error "Unable to process data: Unable to resize disk image to requested size: virtual image size 4615831552 is larger than the reported available storage 2306867200. A larger PVC is required"
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
OpenShift version 4.18.7 OpenShift Virtualization 4.18.2 Migration Toolkit for Virtualization Operator 2.8.2 Fusion Access for SAN 0.0.7
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install OCP-V on baremetal nodes 2. Install Fusion Access for SAN operator 3. Create VM in vSphere and power on it CPU - 1 CPU(s), 0 MHz used Memory - 4 GB, 0 GB memory active Hard disk 1 - 4.299 GB | Thin Provision 4. Create vSphere Provider in OCP-V 5. Create Migration plan in OCP-V for that VM and Map Storage from vSphere datastore-67 to host storageClass: ibm-spectrum-scale-sample 6. Once Migration plan is ready start migration 7. Wait until step "DiskTransfer" completed successfully 8. Run step "Cutover"
Actual results:
Failed with error: "Unable to process data: Unable to resize disk image to requested size: virtual image size 4615831552 is larger than the reported available storage 2306867200. A larger PVC is required"
Expected results:
Should be passed
