Create new persistence SPI that supports storing data in relational databases

Create a new persistence SPI that allows storing data in relational databases.
This new SPI:

• has to be "fully transactional" so that the current capabilities (supporting both user and non-user transactions) are preserved.
• has to support/expose pessimistic locking semantics which is required in order to able to achieve strong consistency in the JCR context.
