Logging - Sprint 282
Context
CloudKitty is an open-source project designed as a "Rating-as-a-Service" solution, primarily for OpenStack environments.
Recently we have been approached by the CloudKitty team with a request to use the Loki Operator as the backend no-SQL database that CloudKitty needs. From a meeting we had with them the following requirements were identified:
- The CloudKitty would draft a collaboration agreement between both teams that would specify the details of our collaboration;
- Tenant mode "static" fits their needs;
- They would like to have access to the following Loki configuration parameters so we would have to think how we could enable this use-case. Cloudkitty launch date is planned for Q2 2026
The goal of this issue is to review their request and come up with a proposal on how we should move forward with these requests
Acceptance Criteria
- Decide what is the best design to support the use-case of the CloudKitty Team
