      Summary

OpenSearch is being used as a drop in replacement for Elasticsearch. Up until logging v5.4.4, it was possible to use it as such.

      Actual

2022-08-10 13:09:52 +0000 [warn]: [elasticsearch_prod] failed to flush the buffer. retry_times=50 next_retry_time=2022-08-10 13:10:49 +0000 chunk="5e5dfdbfb5aad589a48d56ea484ca949" error_class=Fluent::Plugin::ElasticsearchOutput::RecoverableRequestFailure error="could not push logs to Elasticsearch cluster ({:host=>\"es-proxy.ros-infra-prod.svc.cluster.local\", :port=>9200, :scheme=>\"http\"}): The client noticed that the server is not a supported distribution of Elasticsearch."

      Expected

Expect to be able to forward logs to OpenSearch
