Chrome Extension doesn't works when user is not logged in

On a windows machine, chrome extension doesn't work:

The plugin breaks on my chrome on windows atm
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'parentElement' of null

Manual Acceptance Test

• Install chrome extension
• Open a dmn file on github as signed in user
• Sign off
• Reload the browser - Open the same dmn file
