A meaningful Kogito process example for local dev experience with in-mem supporting tools

MOTIVATION

We want to test, showcase and improve the local development experience when using our in-memory Kogito supporting tools such as Data Index, Job Service, Management Console and Task Console.

GOALS / IMPLEMENTATION

• Improve an existing example project for showcasing local development experience with in-mem Kogito supporting tools on a meaningful process model in https://github.com/kiegroup/kogito-examples
• Showcase the following capabilities and functionality with supporting tools

• • Runtime tools quarkus extension setup
  • Starting a new process instance from the management console
  • Understanding process instance details and logs
  • Abort processes
  • Retries in jobs
  • Scheduled timers 
  • Send signals
  • Completing forms
