(This is temporary. We have a Confluence page for RNs that needs to be updated.)

This task is only for information and does not need to be assigned to anyone. Normally the "Docs contact" in a Jira issue is the writer responsible for writing the RNs. If there is only one writer, there is no need to specify a Docs contact.

RN fields should be set in the feature or epic, not in the docs issue.

Update the following fields:

• Release note status: Proposed
• Release note type: <type>

Release note text:

1. Generate the text with ReNOA. (Add "Generated by RENOA, not ready for review" or similar so that the SME does not try to review it before it is ready.)
2. Edit the text, if necessary, so it complies with the RHSSG guidelines for RNs.
3. Request review from the SME.
4. Add the Jira ID, if necessary, to the tickets.yaml file. 
5. Check the Jira security. We prefer to make the tickets public unless sensitive information is exposed. Check with the SME. Set security for comments to "Red Hat employees" unless they are relevant.
