Before running tests change file output/tests/classes/log4j.xml.
For example:
<param name="File" value="${build.testlog}/test.log"/> to <param name="File" value="/tmp/test.log"/>

Description

Property build.testlog in log4j.xml is empty and so there is attempt to create test.log in system root and it fails.
Used command is: ./build.sh tests
