Styles not applied in VPE for project 'Permalink' which comes as example with Weld Distribution

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download Weld Distribution
2. Unpack examples folder from the downloaded archive.
3. Execute mvn from the examples folder.
4. Import examples/jsf/permalink/target/weld-permalink.war as WAR file into workspace.
5. Open the project properties and add JavaServer Faces facet to Project Facets.
6. Open permalink/WebContent/WEB-INF/layout/template.xhtml
   Actual behavior:
   CSS styles from {{# {request.contextPath}

   /css/style.css}} are not applied to the page.
   
   Expected behavior:
   The styles are applied.

You may also use the m2eclipse plugin to import the permalink project.
