http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/m2eclipse/20120208-1400/ created, but not yet merged into reqs site or target platform. Need to wait a day or so per Max's "no TP surprises" policy.

In the meantime, try building like this:

            mvn clean install -DtychoVersion=0.14.0-SNAPSHOT -P jbosstools-nightly-staging-composite,jboss-requirements-composite-mirror,local.requirements -Dlocal.requirements=http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/m2eclipse/20120208-1400/

Or, just add a new <repository> to your pom.xml pointing at the new http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/m2eclipse/20120208-1400/ site.

Is there some simple way how to do it via maven? Run tests from eclipse for each module is quite time consuming. Will be much more better to run it via one maven command. Anyways I can do it manually via eclipse.

(2012-02-08 12:59:56) fbricon: nickboldt: can we start moving forward about JBIDE-10659, even though vpakan hasn't performed all checks (I did)
(2012-02-08 13:00:28) nickboldt: fbricon: if you're satisfied and QE is mostly satisfied, then yes, I can implement the update

(2012-02-08 13:00:39) nickboldt: which would make life easier for mistria too

(2012-02-08 13:03:02) vpakan: nickboldt: I didn't run our tests with m2e-wtp 0.15.1 if fbricon did QE have no objection for m2e-wtp update

Vlado, you can install m2e-wtp 0.15.1 in your local Eclipse installation and run tests from within Eclipse.

How can I run locally our maven tests against m2e-wtp 0.15.1?

Current Target Platform does not contain the latest and fixed m2e-wtp, that includes fix for JBIDE-10828
Then Tycho 0.14 cannot perform the full build.

Vlado, all ITs pass mean that there should be no regressions when running the maven tests locally against a new version of m2e-wtp.

            • the JavaEE and JavaEE web projects are configured correctly (check installed facets, JSF, JAX-RS ...). It's OK.
            • all ITs pass - please be more specific. What does it mean?
            • project from JBIDE-10618 is deployed properly without client artifacts. When changing <packagingExcludes> value it's reflected in ./settings/org.eclipse.wst.common.component file. So I think it's OK.

            Vlado, you can check :

            • m2e-wtp 0.15.0 fixes JBIDE-10618.

Installed to JBT 2012-02-05_1417-H4165-Beta1 without errors.
Created Java EE Web Project and Java EE Project without errors.
Created new Maven Project based using maven-archetype-webapp and run on server without errors.

Don't know if it's sufficient to decide that there are no problems with m2e-wtp 0.15.0 in JBT 3.3.

If there are more scenarios QA should check before going for m2e-wtp 0.15.0 please write them to this Jira otherwise we agree with updating m2e-wtp to v. 0.15.0.

First, Max must approve. Then, Len must approve. Next, see JBIDE-9775 for the steps to push this to the mirror and TPs. (I can do this, or @fbricon can do this, or we could get @mistria to try it.)
