      • Start new instance of JBoss EAP 7.4.2
      • Create a credential-store eg. my-store from admin console
      • Add aliases (via web console) in credential-store. On Admin console navigate to :
      Runtime --> Server --> Security --> Stores --> View --> Credential store --> Aliases --> Add alias For eg. db-password
      
      • Update or set new secret for same alias added earlier (via web console). On Admin console navigate to :
      Runtime --> Server --> Security --> Stores --> View --> Credential store --> Aliases --> Select <db-password> --> Set Secret
      
      • List the aliases either using CLI (using :read-aliases operation) or web console the modified alias is removed automatically.

    Description

      Updating the password of an alias within the credential store from the web console using set-secret operation, removes it automatically. This is only replicated if it is done through the web console, not through the CLI.
