[GSS](7.3.z) shutdown can indefinitely stall with a hung request

    Description

      If there is a long/hung request, then shutdown will stall. While the request is processing, shutdown is stuck waiting for the XNIO task worker org.jboss.threads.EnhancedQueueExecutor service to shutdown, which can't currently until all its threads have finished.

      Can this be improved with a limited wait for EnhancedQueueExecutor thread completion?
