Splashscreen support has improved in Ganymede.

Check if we can inject the version info dynamically to avoid having to update the version constantly.
(note: the "show build id" trick only shows the id when the progressmeter starts - we need to have the version upfront)

If not possible dynamically then maybe adjust the build to merge a PNG with version info so we don't have to do it manually
