      Go to admin console : Profile -> Connector -> mail
      Select default JNDI "java:jboss/mail/Default" and click "View"
      It shows only SMTP server.Click on help icon.
      It tells you that "outbound-socket-binding-ref: Outbound Socket binding to POP3 server"

    Description

      When configuring mail connector in admin console, help information is confusing.

      For SMTP it shows:

      outbound-socket-binding-ref: Outbound Socket binding to POP3 server

      Server is not POP3 but SMTP, I think message should be in general form like "Outbound Socket binding to mail server"
      or should be configured separately (SMTP, IMAP, POP3)
