      This is probably related to the plugin updates we made recently: the javadocs navigation bar now appears as a plain list of links.

            The maven javadoc plugin is not at fault. The regression was caused by using a 1.7 JDK to build the release. Building with 1.6 against the new plugin produces correct results

            It always had plain links, except for Overview, compare:

            vs
            http://docs.jboss.org/infinispan/5.2/apidocs/

            Anyway, there's no need for this javadoc plugin update, so reverting it.
