Creating caches with statistics that differ in special character will make second cache degraded

Creating two caches that differ only in a special character (eg. special-cache and special/cache) and have statics enabled will result in second cache being created as degraded with an error:

Unexpected error creating the cache with the provided configuration. "Failure while registering metrics"

Expected behavior would be that the cache is not created at all if an error is encountered during creation.
